Natural habitats in Colombia

Amacayacu The Amacayacu National Natural Park, is located in the department of Amazonas. In this jungle there are more than five thousand species of plants and their forests are representative of a region where there is the greatest diversity of primates in the world. In this park there is also the pink dolphin and the manatee. 2. Chingaza The Chingaza National Natural Park is a natural and cultural treasure of central Colombia. The magic of its mountains keeps secrets and thoughts inherited from Los Muiscas and the Guayupes, indigenous peoples who guarded this territory, as well as from peasant communities that inhabited the region less than 40 years ago. 3.
